You are not ideally required or expected to take a test but are expected to be present for the duration of the course and participating in group activities, tasks and discussions. You must also show evidence of achieving all identified learning outcomes by the end of the course. All certificates are valid for a year from date of issue.

You do not need to wear any specific clothes/shoes but it is recommended that you wear something comfortable. Dark colours are advisable as some of the practical exercises and activities are physically involving. You are advised not to wear sharp and lose jewellery (such as necklaces, big fashion rings etc.)

Participants are strongly advised to discuss this with their employer/GP and Trainer prior to commencing the training. Confidentiality will be maintained for any discussed and recorded information at all times.

No-You own the training. We will visit you on your work place at times and dates that are convenient to you. We also provide training at our various venues and you will be fully informed of directions prior start of the training.

Yes-Tell us in time what training you need and when you need it and we will do our best to facilitate that.

Yes we are a member of ‘Basis Training’ who were chosen Best Personal and Safety Training Providers of 2017 ‘ provided by the ‘Quality Award Centre’ & accredited by ‘The Institute of Conflict Management Board UK’ , Royal College of Nursing (RCN) & Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC). There are no universally accepted standards for the use of physical restraint although both the British Institute of Learning Disabilities (BILD)44 and the Institute of Conflict Management (ICM) 45 offer voluntary quality accreditation schemes) website.

Mostly in Hampshire but other areas can also be facilitated upon proper arrangements with individual organisations.

Yes ‘ONLY via telephone and emails’ with any other more in depth face to face support arranged in time – as this normally depends on the complexity of the problem or problems and also time potentially needed. Costs may apply.
